Lieutenant Robert Lewis

Bob Lewis has been a Lower Makefield Twp. police officer since 1994, the past 16 years. As Detective Sergeant Bob had been supervising and over seeing the Detective Division since January of 2009. Prior to that, he held the rank of Patrol Sergeant from 2006 and prior to that he was a Corporal beginning in 2001. Bob is a graduate of Council Rock High School and is a resident of Langhorne, PA. He also has served as a SWAT officer, Field Training Officer, Police Motorcycle Officer and Accident Investigator. He is also a department instructor in Less-than-Lethal training.

As a Patrol Lieutenant in the police department, his new position will place him third in Command of the Department, after the Chief of Police and the Captain. The Patrol Lieutenant oversees the Patrol Division which consists of four patrol squads, each headed by a Sergeant; including their equipment and training. The Lieutenant will also over see the DARE-Community Policing Unit.
