LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP
POLICE DEPARTMENT

POSITION OPENING:
WEB ADMINISTRATOR FOR
LOWER MAKEFIELD TWP. NEIGHBORHOOD
WATCH ASSOCIATION

The volunteer position of Web Administrator for the Lower Makefield Township Neighborhood Watch Association is open to all interested members of the LMTNWA.  Our current web administrator is resigning his position due to relocation from Lower Makefield Township. The resignation will be effective by late September 2010.

Any interested LMTNWA member is asked to send me a resume via email with their qualifications for this position. At this time I am asking for (2) two web administrators, one person will have the main oversight of the LMTNWA website and the second assistant administrator will be the back up and will be asked to fill in from time to time. This is strictly a volunteer position within the LMTNWA organization.

The finalists will be requested to undergo a background investigation; since you will be working in conjunction with me and the police department on various web projects and or postings. The duties are simple and the site can be maintained from your home and the website domain is paid for by the police department.

You can contact me at:

215-493-4055 x.1171 (Monday – Thursday)

My Email: mikep@LMT.org

Thank You,
Officer Michael Pell
Coordinator
D.A.R.E. / Community Policing Unit

Swine Flu Advisoryfrom the Lower Makefield Emergency Management Committee.

The Bucks County Health Department is actively coordinating with state and federal health officials to remain updated on swine flu.

Everyday actions people can take to stay healthy

•        Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
•        Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
•        Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.

Try to avoid close contact with sick people

•        Influenza is thought to spread mainly person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people.
•        If you get sick, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
•        If you are sick AND you have traveled to Mexico or been in contact with someone who is sick and has been to Mexico or areas of the US with confirmed swine influenza cases , seek medical attention
